Hi Skandha

Followed your instructions to install google analytics code (Go to => Dashboard => Catch Web Tools => Activate Webmaster Tool => Configure the Webmaster Tool => Header and Footer Scripts => Now add your Google Analytics Code in wp_head().)
I dont know if Google knows it’s there?
Google search Console does not seem to “See” it for varification
Is this the case, Have I done it wrong? How Can I check?

Hello Stevieg,

Can you login to your site Dashboard and then go to “Catch Web Tools => Webmaster Tools”, there “Enable Webmaster Module” should be checked in “Check to Enable” and then click on “Header and Footer Scripts” and then add your script in “Enter scripts or code you would like output to wp_head(): “.

Share your site URL once you have added the code then, I can check in your site source. We also do same in our site and it’s working fine.

@Stevieg: If you still have confusion, then you can install Yoast SEO plugin and follow this step https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/add-website-google-search-console/
