Hi – using simplecatch on WP 4.5.2 – all up to date. If I open the featured post slider tab in theme options, it resets the logo and slider to default and shows as defaults in the settings. I have had to restore database from backups to rectify. Any advice to work around this issue? Thanks in advance, Richard

@richardi: I checked the theme in our server(WordPress 4.5.2) and it seems to be working fine. No problem if I navigate through options in Theme Options.
Are you using any plugins? Try disabling plugins and check if it resolves the issue.

Thanks for checking. I have disabled all plugins and the issue remains the same. Any ideas? might changing themes then deleting and reinstalling simple catch have any effect?

OK, I deleted and reinstalled the simple catch theme and still have the same issue with plugins on and off. Any other ideas before I look around for a similar theme?

@richardi: Is it happening with custoimzer too? Try customizer options instead and check if it resolves the issue. For customize, go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize.

I hadn’t used the customiser before and it works! Thanks for the advice. I like the theme and didn’t really want to change.
