I just updated the theme as per update alerts from my dashborad. I look at my website and now all featured images and the slider has dissapeared. Any idea why?

I hope you can help soon, the homepage looks like bare bones now. Is there any way I can roll back to the previous Catch Everest?

Is is the same for me it seems that you can enable the slider but than is has to be enabled for the whole site… No clue how to bring back the features images on the frontpage.

Please respond as soon as possible as I can not develop any further.

Thanks for reporting the issues. We have just fixed it and posted for update in WordPress.org but the review team needs to approve it before it get live.

So for now those who have problem please replace your theme “catcheverest-functions.php” which you will find in “inc” directory of theme with http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/catch-everest/0.1.5.1/inc/catcheverest-functions.php

For those who cannot do this can post message here and I will login to your account and change it.

I do not know how to replace the “catcheverest-functions.php”. I to have difficulties replacing the feature images and when I try to replace in the feature post slider I only see the text content from my post but not the images.

It would be great if u can help me out.

@lpompen: You have missed adding in the Featured Image in your post. Just add the featured image and you will see the image. See here on how to add featured image

Same issue here. After updating to 0.1.5, the Home Page functions suddenly stopped working. I’ve uploaded the revised “catcheverest-functions.php” file, but it didn’t restore the home page settings. Thanks in advance for your help troubleshooting this!

Actually … I’ve got three devices going here and four browsers among them. It loads in IE and Firefox. It’s not loading in Chrome on the PC or either Android device. And it’s not loading on Samsung’s handset browser, whatever that’s called.

@grstahl: I check it from chrome and it fine. But in mobile is is not showing. I just check in details in your site and found that you have install W3 Total Cache. Can you clear all cache for the settings and check it.

Hmm. It still doesn’t load in Chrome or mobile devices on my end, but I cleared the caches and even tried turning the plugin off … but to no avail.

Even after updating the .php file  via FTP on the server it doesn’t solve the issue with the slider and features posts.
