I have selected a featured picture in my post but when I share the post on FB it is not the featured picture (sometimes a different picture and sometimes my header picture), is there another setting where I need to select the featured picture for social media?

Hi @Lisa,
Facebook uses open graph for finding the main image. So, for that, you can either use Catch Web Tools plugin. It has open graph tools that you can use to add image that will be fb image.

Thank you for your help. I installed the Catch Web Tools and enabled the open graphic module. Can you tell me how I go about selecting the featured facebook picture?

After activating the plugin and enabling Open Graph Module, you can follow these steps:

• Goto Catch Web Tools=> Open Graph tab, Default Settings
• Add in a global image for Facebook in-case page/post does not contain an image (Also will be used for blog and archive pages)

For Individual pages and posts:

• Goto the page/post’s edit page
• You should see Catch Web Tools Settings box
• There, goto Open Grap tab
• Add desired Image Url

This should work. Let me know how it goes.
