Is there a way to stop featured posts from displaying on the main part of the page? Like if I want the post to display at the top of the page as featured, I don’t also want it popping up on the lower part of the page with the regular posts.
How do I do this?

For example, you see the JCC post, Beth Shalom post, and JRS post both on the featured content and below with regular posts, effectively on the same page twice.

I don’t want the featured posts to show up down below with regular posts (like Rosh Pina you see there).

For this, create a new category Featured(example) and then assign the category to the posts in the Featured Content. Then go to “Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options=> Frontpage/Homepage Settings” and select categories except “Featured” in Homepage posts categories
