On the homepage of my website http://www.vanwulfen.com I use the Featured Image Slider to display a selection of images. No matter what option I select under Image Loader (True / Wait / False) it takes approximately 7 seconds before the first image is displayed when using Apple’s Safari Browser. Chrome and Firefox (MacOS) work fine.

How can I ensure the first image is displayed immediately when using Safari?

There seems to be an issue with the Image Loader option. The issue will be fixed and a theme update will be released soon. I will let you know when the update is released.

I am running 1.4.3 and the issue is not resolved…

This issue remains unresolved and in the mean time my subscription has expired…
That being said, can a fix for this bug be expected in the near future?

@vavw: Since the issue has been already fixed in version 1.4.2. You may try changing the image loader option to either True or Wait and you could see the difference in Image loading behavior. Please try clearing your browser cache after changing the option. Let me know if the issues still persists.
