Hi,

How do I show a sidebar with a specific categorie’s posts on my posts?

For example, any posts in the “Around Town” category should have a sidebar with all other “Around Town” posts listed.

For that you will need to edit each of the posts that belong to Around Town category.

Select Sidebar => Optional Sidebar One => Update the post.

Then,

Go to => Appearance => Widgets => Optional Sidebar One => Add the widgets you’d like to display on those posts.

Hi,

I can only use that if I want same sidebar for multiple posts.

My issue is that I have multiple categories (20+). For any post within category 1, I need all category 1 posts to be shown in sidebar. For posts in category 2, I want all category 2 posts to be seen. So for each post that is tagged as 1 should have all posts tagged as 1 shown in sidebar, etc.

Does this make sense?

I am afraid that does not look possible with the available theme options. If you really need it I suggest you to hire a customizer to get it done.
