Hi team, I updated theme to Catch Bells Version: 1.2, and I have had the 500 Internal Server Error since 30th July.

My host checked the error_log file for me, and I deactivated the plugin that generated the most errors. They also migrated my site to another server and changed the PHP memory to 256M. However, the issues persist.

My WordPress admin is working extremely slowly, and I can’t update any Pages or Posts (including the Custom Post Types posts). When I try to open a Page to edit or update it, I will receive this message “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response”. Also, when I try to open or edit a Post, I receive these messages “Template part has been deleted or is unavailable: header-other” & “Template part has been deleted or is unavailable: footer-with-three-columns”.

At the same time, the website can’t be loaded with this message “There has been a critical error on this website”. The website is back to normal when logged out from WordPress admin. I also couldn’t visit the website using other devices (home computer and mobile) when I logged in to the WordPress admin from my work computer. And this message will be shown on all the screens “There has been a critical error on this website”.

I am unable to save any changes to the pages and posts, and sometimes will see “Updating failed” message in the content area, and “Could not retrieve the featured image data” in the editing area.

The website is working fine when I update CSS, and using plugins like Code Snippet, Easy Accordion, W3 Total Cache, WPForm and edit plugins.

Please let me know if this is something that you can help me with, or if you require further information. Is it possible that a plugin conflicts with the theme?

    Thank you so much.

@Sophie: We’ve done testing on our server and everything is working well. There is no missing ‘footer with three columns’. So please check your sit,e deactivate all the installed plugins one by one. This might be a plugin issue.

And also, please go through the link below, it might help you.

Please feel free if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,
    Sujapati
