Can I get rid of the comments section at the bottom of my page?

There isn’t a line that says “allow for comments”. It says “allow for comments on recent articles”. I’ve gone into settings/discussion and unchecked every box in there. The comment area still shows on my site. How do I get rid of it?

Hi Gardner,

When you write a Page. There is option to Remove the Comment. There will be discussion box below the content box there un-check Allow comments and Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page.

If you don’t see this box in the page then you need to enable the box from the screen option. Tick Discussion box.

1. Uncheck to Disable Comment:
   
2. Check the Discussion Box from screen option to enable comment/discussion box.
