Hi there,

I have an issue for our French language website sola.org concerning some of the text. I was able to change the “Continue Reading” and “Search” text using the customizer, but I do not know how to change the following text:

1) When displaying posts on the homepage the title “Blog” appear with “From the Blog” underneath. How do I edit these?

2) At the bottom of the page, the pagination is set to numeric. I’m concerned with the “Next” text that appears on the last link.

@jejboulet: To edit Blog and From the Blog. Login to your WordPress admin section. Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Homepage/Frontpage options
Locate Recent Posts Heading and Recent Posts Sub Heading and you can add the desired text.

Can you please let me know the translation plugin that you have used ?

Hi Tikaram,

Thanks for your response. I followed your instructions. When I get to the Homepage/Frontpage Options there is only one choice to make: there is a switch with the text “Recent Posts/Content on homepage”. There is nothing about “Recent Posts Heading” or “Recent Posts Sub Heading”.

To answer your question: We are not using a translation plugin. The language of the site is set to French and our content is French only.

Besides the text I have already mentioned, I also want to change the following text:

1) “Home” in the primary menu button.

2) “View all posts by X” at the bottom of the author box. (By the way, do I have any control over the author box format, colors, etc.?)

No, we are displaying recent articles on the homepage.

@jejboulet: Can you please check again and let me know, the option should be available in the customizer. Login to your WordPress admin section. Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Homepage/Frontpage options.

@tikaram: I have checked again. There are no such options at that location. I would attach an screenshot to show you what I see, but it seems only to allow web hosted images. There is only the switch with the text “Recent Posts/Content on homepage”. The switch is set to on.

@tikaram: Thanks for your email. For now, I have chosen to hide the heading text using CSS.

There are still my other questions. Is there a way to change these texts:

1) “Home” in the primary menu button.

2) “Next” in the pagination at the bottom of the page.
