Is there a changelog anywhere for the recent update? I was a bit dense and didn’t go the route of a child-theme to make a couple modifications to Catch Box. While my changes were super minor, and I’ll just throw together a child theme so I can update Catch Box, I was curious as to what was changed.
By the way, an observation: The slider tends to change height depending on the length of excerpt which isn’t always the same number of lines — when it gets to an excerpt that adds a line, it pushes everything below it down, then when it switches to the next slide, stuff jumps back up. I fixed this by forcing the slider height to always be 410px high, but always seems wrong to use !important in CSS, heh.
Personally I’m not entirely sold on sliders in general, but I love the simplicity of Catch Box’s; I think eventually I might have a horizontal row of ‘featured’ posts instead of slider… //ramble
Thanks for the kickass theme, I’ve been really impressed by how great this theme is, it makes customizing it a breeze. Compared to some of the other themes that tout responsiveness or simpleness, Catch Box actually is what it claims.
