I cant get the slider to change photos from Everest and Napal. Is there a way to get my posts into the slider?

I have a featured image set in the post too.

I would also like to turn the comments off.

I figured out the comments by going to discussion un checking allow comments, then for all my old posts/pages I had to go into the post/page editor, top right screen options, click discussion and then turn them off there.

I eventually will delete the featured posts below and just have the 3 posts repair paint clean in the slider.

@MikeHornbeck: I see that you are using Catch Everest Free theme which only have Featured Post Slider. So, first create the post with the featured image then note down the post id and add those id in “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Post Slider”.

@sakin Thanks that worked! The ID confused me. Once I put only the numbers in it worked. I am thinking about upgrading to pro. I read the homepage slider on pro has the option for an image slider. Can I have the image slider just be images with no pages/posts attached to it. So basically the images are just there scrolling?
