Is there a way to use different fonts, other than the ones in the preset styles?

@peterbook: This options is there only in Catch Everest Pro theme. But if you want to use just a web safe font then you can change it by adding CSS in “Custom CSS” box in Theme Options panel. See this http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css_websafe_fonts.asp

Other question: in Catch Everest, is it possible to have the column that is NOT the post or page have a different background color from the background of the post/page? like off-white, for example, so that it’s visually clearer what’s what.

try #f4f4f4 for the background color of the sidebar -the section/column that’s either to the right or left of the post/page.

and I have another question: I’ve noticed that when people subscribe I don’t get a email notification that it happened, so if I have to send them something (like when the book’s ready) I don’t know who they are. Is there a way to be notified about subscribers and their email address?

For Sidebar background color. Add the following CSS in “Custom CSS” box in Theme Options panel.
#secondary { background-color: #F4F4F4; }

I don’t know which subscription are you using as we don’t have subscription option in our theme. Please consult with the plugin author.

@ianroach: Please post it in Catch Everest Pro forum. You can change the color through Color Options. Go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Color Options” and change the color as per you need.

@peterbook: It depends on the server you host on and also you can use the plugin like W3 Total Cache and all to optimize the theme.

@peterbook: It was good. That’s the plugin. You can hire developer to optimize it for you. This is not a theme related but related to server performance.

I’d would like that when people click on the IMAGEs in the feature slider they get immediately redirected to where they can buy the book, https://www.createspace.com/4289211
instead of to the post where the feature image is contained.
How can I do that?

@peterbook: To change the link in the image in the slider. You need to use the Featured Image Slider which is there in Catch Everest Pro theme.

@peterbook: Yes only in pro version you have option to choose “featured image slider”. When you use featured image slider, you can upload any image and link to any link, all optional.
