I bought the pro version so that I can enter images not related to a post in the slider. Yet, when chosing this option, I click to chose and image but the image is not inserted.

Is this a bug ?

@Israel: Hum you should be able to upload the image. You can either upload the image or add in the image URL there.
1. First go to your WordPress Dashboard and then “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Slider”
2. In Slider Options, you need to select the slider type as “Image Slider”
3. In Featured Image Slider Options, You need to upload images, add in title, content and link as per your need and then “Save Changes”

Hi Sakin,

I know how to do that, but it really seems to be a bug.

I have followed the instruction,
1) chose the image slider option, then save.
2) Then using the download button to add from the library is not working, I select an image, click insert but nothing shows up.
3) I was able to enter manually the URL
4) Click saved at the bottom of the pageR
Result : demo stuffs appears now

Using the slider with a blog category is working fine though but because I wanted to use image not related to a post I bought the theme to have all the feature.

Some informations that could help:
– I first of all used your free theme before switching to your pro theme
– WordPress & extension are up to date.
– WordPress jetpack and photon is enable
– I’m using the French language

If you could give a look to my website, I would greatly appreciate. I’m willing to give you the credentials in pm.

I’m setting back the slider to the post category option for now.

@Israel: For me in our server, I am able to add image using uploader. So, there must be some issue in your server. For that I will send you personal email to check in your server.

For, now just like the way you added the link. Can you add that image url in Image Box. I mean just paste the image URL in Image box and check in. Lien URL can be empty is you don’t need link. But the Image box shouldn’t be empty.

For the benefit of everyone here’s how I solved the issue:

Problem seemed to be related with permission link to my user account although I was administrator. May be a bug realted to WordPress upgrade ….

By creating a brand new user with administrative privilege, I was able to use the slider pro option.
