How can I get my blog posts categories to show up on the blog page so users can see what else is there? Is it possible to also show by Months?

@rpacharya: Go to=> Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options=> Homepage/Frontpage Options=> you can select the multiple post categories to show up on the blog page.

This made the posts show up on the home page, which is not what i am trying to do. I would like the blog post categories to be shown on the blog page below, so that users can quickly navigate to the required category. Also can’t the Months be shown on the blog page so they can jump to specific older blog posts?

@rpacharya: I think you haven’t make your Blog page as post page
Please follow this steps:
Go to=> Appearance=> Customize=> Home Page settings=> Static Page=> Select Home page and Post page

Note: Please select your blog page as post page

-You can use Archive widget so that you can jump to that specific older post directly.
