Hi,
What is the recommended size for a background image for this theme? My client has a large image she wants to use— 2448px x 3264px @ 72ppi. It’s almost 23Mb, so I know it’s too larger to use as is for page load. It’s more a texture than a photo, so both cropping and resizing are options. Can you give me a size to shoot for?

@catwingz: Do you mean the recommended header image? If yes the recommended image size for header image is 1920px * 822px or of similiar aspect ratio.

Hi Skandha,

No, I mean the background image for the page. In the customizer there is a place provided to upload one. No dimensions are suggested, and I know this can get crazy.

1600×1200 px size of image or size of the same aspect ratio would look good on the background.
