Hi everybody
I’m using the free WordPress Theme Adventurous since 2017. In the footer section I have the following information:

copyright © 2017 N-Bahn Club Watt in Höri – NBC Alle Rechte vorbehalten – Adventurous Theme by Catch Themes

Now I would like to make changes as folows:

#1 OLD: copyright © 2017 NEW: copyright © 2017 – 2021
#2 OLD: N-Bahn Club Watt in Höri NEW N-Bahn Club (Watt) in Regensdorf – NBC Alle Rechte vorbehalten – Adventurous Theme by Catch Themes

How can I do this? Note, I have “only” the free version, but obviously in 2017 it was possible to change the footer…

@wandi: The option to change footer from customizer is available only in the Pro version of the theme. Please upgrade to Adventurous Pro to use the footer editor feature. sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Thanks tikaram, for your reply.

Yes I know that this is a feature in the Pro version. But in 2017 it was possible, to change the footer. And I’m not going to pay $ 54.– for only this feature. So anyway, sooner or later I will renew the complete site and the evaulate a new theme.

@wandi: Can you please let me know the previous version that you have used with the possibility to change the footer content so that I can ask the development team regarding the changes.

Hi tikaram
The problem is, that I had to change computer (HD crash) in May this year so I have no history of the Themes. Fortunately I do regular backups and was able to restore the complete files. In the meantime I changed the backup disks and so I do not have any old files.

My actual version of Adventurous Free is 3.3.3, but this will probably not help… Do you still see a possibility for this amendment??

@wandi: Sorry to know about the loss of your files. If you have some coding knowledge you can create a child theme and make the amendment by yourself else the option is to upgrade to the Pro version of the theme.

Thank you very much for your support. No, I do not have coding knowledge – I’m a user and prefer to concentrate my work on content and not on programming items (I’ve checked some instructions on google / youtube etc. but I must admit this is not “my business” 😉

As we have changed our name and this name is in the footer section on the site, I do have to change the complete theme, which is much easier for me (one click) than to learn the coding or to invest $54.– for such a small amendment.
