We’re looking for a way to add or insert a custom HTML amazon banner near the top / header.  I have the code.  Right now, the banner will only show below the header video, below the menu and below the recent posts.  Looking for a way to move it up on the home page.

@greenhornet: You can add HTML in “Movable Sidebar” from “Appearance => Customize => Widgets => Moveable Sidebar”. Then you can change that Movable Sidebar position from “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Movable Sidebar Options => Select Movable Sidebar Position”.

There is no “moveable Sidebar” in this theme.  See the screenshot here.  Will one of the “optional Sidebar” items work?

Yes, moveable sidebar is in the widgets.  How do we accomplish the above request, knowing that?

@greenhornet: Then you can just click on the “Custom HTML” widget and add that to the “Moveable Sidebar”, then add your HTML code there and “Save” it. After that, you can move the position of that Moveable Sidebar from “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Movable Sidebar Options => Select Movable Sidebar Position”.
