MemberHi,
im using your Adventurous Pro Theme and facing two issues i cant solve.
First is the Featured Content area. In the settings i can put in a ”
Featured Content Headline Text” and a “Featured Content Subheadline Text”. The “Featured Content Headline Text” is displayed well but, if i fill out the “Featured Content Subheadline Text” it displayed the “Featured Content Headline Text” instead of it. Hope this is clear 🙂 If not here is a a screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/oZF4J3Y5The second issue is at the Featured Content Slider. I cant switch the slider botton colors from the color setting http://screencast.com/t/kMIYZbkYKKd Any idea where i can change it?
Hope someone can help me out.
Thanks,
BenniJune 26, 2014 at 5:13 pm #36434Sakin
Keymaster@Ruby: Thank for reporting issue in Featured Content Healing issue. We have just got that info also from @Jessica and we are working on Fixed in both Adventurous Free and Pro version. We will fixed this as soon as possible. Please wait for version 1.1
There is no option to change the color of slider controllers colors. For this you need to add Custom CSS. So, change the color code in the following css as per your need and then add it in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
/* For Default */ #controllers a { background-color: #fff; } /* For Hover and Active */ #controllers a:hover, #controllers a.active { background-color: #7c9b30; }

MemberThanks Sakin for your reply. I will try the CSS Option to change the color. Do you know when you will release the version 1.1?
Best regards,

ParticipantHi
I have been experimenting with Adventurous and just installed V 1.1 of Adventurous Pro. My problem is with the drop downs from the main menu. They simply don’t seem to work with all mobile devices. I had hoped that the Pro version would solve the problem but my iOS 5 iPad sees only the top level menus. This was rather disappointing.
Is there a solution or work around? Am I missing something?

KeymasterHi Ted,
Can you post in your site URL so that I can test in my iPad.

ParticipantHi Sakin
Sure can. http://barc.ve3hpl.netI can create a custom menu in the same location but it scrolls out of the browser window.
I also received a report from one tester about similar problems with a Playbook.
Thanks, Ted

Just one other thing. I was reading another post about the menu vanishing when the browser window is made smaller than some threshold. When I check with my theme I noticed that the menu did disappear but it behaved like my iPhone. When looking at the iPad, in landscape is when the menu is inaccessible. In portrait it behaves like my iPhone, with the expanding hierarchical menu.

KeymasterHello Ted,
Adventurous theme is build in responsive design and it changes as per the screen size. So, you have mobile menu in Portrait view and full menu in Landscape view. We found small glitch in landscape view with drop down menu and have fixed in new version. So, please wait, we will be release new version as soon as possible.
We are testing it in http://catchthemes.com/demo/adventurous/

ParticipantHi again
Strange development. Adventurous Pro refuses to display a Featured Header Image on the home page. The option is set for Entire Site but it is not visible on the home page. It was working but suddenly stopped. I have been experimenting with several plugins but I can’t link it to one. Possibly related, around the time the header image disappeared Admin changes would not show up in browser refreshes even after I disabled cache. It appears there is a lot to learn…

KeymasterHi Ted,
There is no problem in Header Featured Image. For homepage header featured image, first you need to add header image from “Appearance => Header” and then you can go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Header Featured Image Options” and select the option “Enable Featured Header Image”.

ParticipantHi Sakin
Thanks for the response. I thought I was doing things as you describe. So…I removed the header image including from the media library then followed your instructions, uploading the image from the Appearance => Header page. I enabled it for the home page but it did not display. I then enabled it for the full site. It now displays on every page except the home page.
Take a look http://barc.ca/wordpress/
I have moved the site from the initial test server to the target host.

KeymasterHi Ted,
This is strange as it’s working fine in our server. So, I need to check in details and I will email you personally.
Have a nice day.
