Greetings, is there a way ads just started appearing on my header and left side panel of my Lucida free theme? It started happening today.

I disabled my plugins to see if that was causing the problem but it’s still there. Just started today.

Changed the theme to a non-Catch theme and ads don’t show. Change it back to Lucida Free and ad shows under header and menu sections.

I received an e-mail from google saying they started their “Auto Ads” which adds advertisements on websites automatically. I had no idea that Google can add their code to anywhere on my site automatically like that. Wow…

The ads by google started showing up after I installed Clean Journal Pro WordPress Theme

Hello Diane,

There is no such code about Google AdSense in the theme. It must be added via a plugin or script.
