I have the Adonis (free) theme installed but am hesitating to purchase the pro version b’cos its responsiveness is just not working.

In fact, on mobile devices like my smartphone, the header images do not even show(?)

I asked for support but the issue is just not being addressed.

Please remove the Additional CSS code you have added for video and

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

.custom-header-media video {
object-fit: revert;
}

Regarding the video not working on mobile devices it is a default WordPress feature and you will need to use our Header Enhancement Plugin to make the header video play even on mobile devices.

I am not able to access you wp-admin of your site anymore.

On adding that code I now get white bars on both sides of the video background (on desktop) – see https://mediastreams.ca

On my other websites using other themes, I have the headers and videos responsive perfectly. For some reason, it is only not happening with your Adonis theme.

One more thing – with the Header Enhancement plugin active, the frontpage video does not autoplay – it shows a blank screen until the play button is clicked.

Currently I have deactivated the plugin.

I even tried adding your Header Enhancement plugin on my site at https://mediastreams.ca but it has no effect at all. In fact the frontpage video background does not even play on a mobile phone. Also the header images are still not responsive and are hugely enlarged when viewed on a mobile.

@pesi: Hello there,

The Header Video plays sounds but does not autoplay with the free version of the Header Enhancement Plugin. The option to toggle between Play Sound and Autoplay is only available in the pro version of the plugin.

I checked your site and you seem to have used another plugin for the Video on the homepage.
