Hello Sakin,

Just a question about creating a gallery.

Is it possible to redirect each image from a gallery to a specific url (in my case to my Flickr account)? I mean, when you click each thumbnail it will open a new page linked to the image in original size in my flickr account.

I know I can redirect individual images when creating a post, but in the case of a gallery, would it be possible?

@Halconio: I don’t understand your question. If you are creating the WordPress Gallery and want to add custom link. Then when you upload the image add the link to that particular image. Then you can create the gallery of those images with links.

Wright, that´s what I want to do.

I want to do this because I don’t want to store images in my wordpress content file, I want to store them in Flickr (large size). The only images that I will store in wordpress are the thumbnails (small size), the ones I want to be shown in the gallery. Then, when you click on each thumbnails you will be redirected to my flickr account were the large images are hosted.

When I try to edit the images in the gallery, there is no option to change the URL link.

As a reference, when you open the EDIT IMAGE box of an image that was inserted in a post, you will find the following options: Alignment, Title, Alternative text, leyend and URL link. When I insert a gallery, I cannot find that option for editing each individual images.

@Halconio: Sorry in that case you might need to use Flickr plugin. I though you were using WordPress image uploader.

No Sakin, I´m using the wordpress image uploader, but when creating a gallery in a post, I cannot change the URL link of each image.

I have tried to use Flickr plugins, but any of them works, I also have tried Nextgen gallery plugin, but is the same situation of wordpress uploader… there is no option to change url link of images.

Anyway, everything seems to be complicated.
