@lermi: Homepage headline area is to write message. But yes it also accepts HTML codes. So you can just add image with HTML code see this on image HTML tags http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp

Hy Sakin,

I have the same wish to insert a picture instead of the text into the homepage headline area. I tried the recommended solution by inserting html code for pictures, but I am not a technical person and couldn’t figure it out how to do it. Especially didn’t find how to give the picture location.

Is there any other way to insert a picture between the slider and featured content area on homepage? as I observed it was possible on this site: http://www.xylemclothing.com

I would appreciate your help.

@rbrt_bene: Sorry you have to have that idea. There is no other simple way. Another way is by building child theme and it is more complicated. So, better you take help from someone who knows about it.
