Hi
I am wanting to add a full width header image for each of my Pages.
This is to be the same height and width as the slider image on the Homepage.
I want to add it to all Pages except the Homepage.
I have tried:
1) adding code per Page, which doesn’t do anything
2) making a new template, which works to a certain extent but is with the Content wrap so is restricted to the margins set within this.
3) Adding the div within the header, which gives me exactly what I want except it is on the Homepage too, which I don’t want.I also want the ability to change each header image so I wanted to set the div to read from the featured image set per page.
Is there any way to do this please as I am going around in circles a little here.
Many thanks

I want the red area to stretch the whole span of the navigation and header, and to be able to change the image in this per Page.June 20, 2013 at 7:36 pm #10761acanthuroidMemberbump

June 21, 2013 at 3:52 pm #10798LolleyMemberI would like to do something similar:
I have created a featured slider for the homepage but feel that single static images would be better for subsequent pages.
Is there a way to do this?
Thank you!
June 21, 2013 at 4:00 pm #10799LolleyMemberI see that I can use Header Featured Image Options to Enable Featured Header Image to Pages & Posts; but when I ad a Feature Image to a page the image is repeated in the text.
June 21, 2013 at 4:08 pm #10800LolleyMemberHere is a link to a page with the problem of two identical images set via Featured Image
June 21, 2013 at 4:56 pm #10802LolleyMemberWorked it out:
On Page, set featured image (choosing one that is slider width) and check the default radio in Content Featured Image Size
In Theme Options > Header Featured Image Options >
Enable Featured Header Image > check Pages & Posts
Page/Post Featured Image Size > check Slider Image
Featured HeaderImage Position > check After Menu (or wherever you want your image to be)
🙂

Where do you find the area where you check Pages & Posts?
June 22, 2013 at 12:08 am #10809acanthuroidMemberWhen I do this I get the standard issue ‘men climbing up a snowy mountain’ image

— This option is only there in Pro version. Where you can add it from “Appearance => Theme Options => Header Featured Image Options”.See the details about additional features in Catch Everest Pro at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-everest-pro/
June 22, 2013 at 1:25 am #10822acanthuroidMemberI have got the Pro.
Is there a step by step guide please? Can’t seem to get it so I have different images per Page plus a sliding image on homepage.
June 22, 2013 at 1:31 am #10824SakinKeymaster@acanthuroid: I have given you the instruction that you can manage it from “Appearance => Theme Options => Header Featured Image Options”.
June 22, 2013 at 2:51 pm #10836acanthuroidMemberThanks but when I do this I get the image of people climbing a mountain – how do I then select a different image per Page?
June 22, 2013 at 2:53 pm #10837acanthuroidMemberI can change that image to ONE image, but I want a different one per Page
June 22, 2013 at 2:54 pm #10838acanthuroidMemberAnd it still appears on the Homepage as well!
Please help
June 22, 2013 at 2:58 pm #10839acanthuroidMemberI don’t have this option that Lolley mentioned:
In Theme Options > Header Featured Image Options >
Enable Featured Header Image > check Pages & PostsCan’t see anything that lets me check by Pages & Posts
June 22, 2013 at 8:41 pm #10852SakinKeymaster@acanthuroid: You can replace that image climbing image from the Theme Option, and for the pages and post image, You first have to add featured image on those page. See this on how to add featured image. http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image.

June 22, 2013 at 8:48 pm #10854acanthuroidMemberSee above screenshot of what I have in Theme Options > Header Featured Image Options
