    I had downloaded, installed and configured the Pro version in a ‘sandbox’ subdirectory on another domain and got it to work perfectly. I did not backup and move it. I installed a clean download on WP 4.6 yesterday and can’t get the static front page to come up. I have gone over the settings for hours and don’t know what I have done wrong. I did notice there are two “HOME” pages in the Menu list of pages under View All, although there is only one Home-Frontpage under All Pages. I have the front page configured for full width, static front page, image slider for front page only, featured content for front page only, and promotion button. But an OOPS…page not found is coming up. I have set the ‘main menu’ as the Secondary menu, and another “Member” menu for the Primary menu. I suspect the problem is either with the two HOME pages or with choosing a wrong Home page in Menu, but can’t seem to fix it.

    @fmhboudreau:
    Hi Faith,

    Thank you for using Catch Kathmandu Pro.
    Have you made any changes in permalinks? Go to Dashboard=> Settings=> Permalinks and click Save Changes once and try again. I noticed that the home page url is showing http://www.cbida.org/index.html instead of http://www.cbida.org/, have you created an index.html file? or done any redirection? It should have been just http://www.cbida.org/. And also, if you have any plugins, try disabling it and check if it resolves the issue.

    Regards,
    Mahesh

    I made no changes in permalinks. Clicking Save Changes did nothing. I have only one plugin (Contact Form 7), and the issue occurred before I installed the plugin.

    This domain had a Weebly website prior to my installing WP and your theme. The tech support at FatCow hosting told me I could just move all the old files from the root directory to a new folder, which I named Old Website. It was the only way to remove the Weebly website. I did not create an index.html file on my own. I moved the old files and then did a clean install of WP and then your theme. This is only the 2nd website I have installed so am not that proficient in this.

    I will download the old files to my computer as a backup and then delete that folder with the weebly website from the root, and let you know if that helps.

    @fmhboudreau: I just checked your site and seems the home page is now working fine. The site is not redirecting to http://www.cbida.org/index.html anymore. I think you’ve resolved your problem and you’ve also set the static front page.
    Let me know further.

    Regards,
    Mahesh
