But could it also be considered as a bug in the program? If you change to the “dark colour scheme” in theme, this breadcrumb bar should actually automatically change to black.

The question is about the lay-out of the breadcrumb. Is it possible to make the box where the word HOME is placed, black? The same deep black #000000 as the background colour of the website? And the same question for the white beam below the large picture, I would also like to have it deep black.
The idea is to get a whole black background behind the breadcrumb trace.

Where can I leave kudos? The theme we bought is not only beautiful and flexible, but it works flawless. And with the excellent support from you and your colleagues, it is a highly professional product.

In general, the theme is beautiful and flexible. And so far it is working flawless!

To come back to the problem. Yes one can argue that some styling and/or web design rules are broken. And you gave practical ideas of circumventing the problem. Very much appreciated!
But I still see it as a technical problem in the theme. As far as I know there are no technical specifications regarding the text in the menu. And although the “button texts” are long, there is still some “slack” in the bar.
I don’t know weather you belong to the “Catch Staff”, but I would be interested in a technical solution as well.

Thank you very much for the fast response.
For now, I suggest we leave it the way it works. The words are split correct now when the language in WP is put in the same language as the written text. And for small screens I think it is even an advantage to have large words split.
Is the “word split function” in the theme our is it a WP function?

The problem has been partially solved by switching the language in WordPress from Dutch to German. The words are split correctly now when it comes to grammar. The question that remains; is it possible to switch this “split function” off?
ParticipantSome second thoughts, the button you are referring to is obviously generating additional advertisements. For a professional site this is not acceptable. So I have to create my own printer CSS
