I found where the error is. its the featured header image.
Even after adding the alt txt, it shows blank in page source.

I was indeed talking about internal links. I checked the forum, but did not find answer to my problem.

The suggestion under the error is –
“7 links have no text describing their destination. Links on a page should describe their destination for the benefit of both screen readers and search engine spiders.
Add meaningful anchor text that describes the link’s destination. If the link contains an image, ensure you have provided alt text.”

What does that mean. I have no broken links, all links in the menu have nav label and title attribute. What is anchor text then?

this site and many others are developed by me using wordpress.

what the error is talking about is missing text for the custom url. The problem is the custom link which is the name of the website

How will the breadcrumb solve the issue. I have a brokenlink checker plugin which detects no broken links.

okay, let me explain.
the home page is a custom link goaholidays.ektamedicaltravel.com with label as ‘Home’
1] the error says no text for link betw home url and page url
How can there be text for the link when the link url as wll as page url is same??

2] the second page name is ‘contact us’
the error says “link has no text” between home url and contact-us url

Did you understand the problem?
Pls check my site. You will understand if I am not clear enough.

and the page url is also the name of my site. Where can be the text to describe the link, is what I dont understand and is what I asked you. I also copy-pasted the error.

It is either your theme error or wordpress error which as a programmer you will surely know.

I need your help again. Looks like someone has hacked my site. On each and every page, I get this error -Not Found
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?

@sakin, in that case, please do not call this theme “free”.
I thank you for being supportive all the while. But sorry I disagree that this theme is free.

What you are doing is basically advertising your brand through your one million free-users and gaining popularity. If you are asking for something in return which is of much bigger value, then what you are offering is by no means “free”.

@sakin, thanks. This worked. But the primary menu disappeared too along with the default header.

Is there way I can put the primary menu back on the new header?

@sakin, thanks. But unfortunately it did not work. When I followed steps 1-4 as you advised, the new header came exactly below the original header.

Then I entered the code in custom.css. This hid both the headers, new as well as the original. I just wanted my header, not the default one.

I got the solution to my problem at “point 1”

Now my second query :
I am not able to paste the screen shot here. So, pls visit my site goaholidays.ektamedicaltravel.com (under construction but you can see the design on home page). I dont like the white color next to site title and logo. I want to insert the header that I have on my other site ektamedicaltravel.com

I hope I was clearer this time in asking my question.

Its very simple. Create a post, insert your own “featured image” and under “categories”, tick in check-box “slider”.
Then go to “appearance -> theme options”
Next, click on “Featured Slider” and Select Slider Type as “Category Slider”
That’s all.
