Hi, I saw that to solve the problem you have disabled Polylang’s media translation setting. Thanks for the resolution. The option for good SEO would need me enabled, so I wrote a request on the Polylang support forum. I await their reply and I will update you.
Thanks for your help.SyGy88ParticipantThanks look forward to the update!
SyGy88ParticipantHi alicebensi, I had the same problem and I entered these codes in the php configuration.
https://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/how-to-change-image-icon-of-service-in-front-page-2/#post-245395SyGy88ParticipantHello skandha, The problem that persists is the display of the “Our Menu Today’s Special” section even if I don’t have the PRO version of the plugin “Essential Content Types”.
But now I have moved the installation to a new domain and now it has an “under costruction” page blocked with psw, if you can contact me in private I can give you a test account.PS. I have inserted the following CSS code for the services section, it is not very nice that you see the icon on the left, what do you think?
.ect-service .post-thumbnail img{ margin:0 auto; }
Thanks for the reply.
SyGy88ParticipantHi, thanks for the reply. Then, unable to solve the problem, I installed WP in the new domain, installed the theme and the importer. After several attempts, in fact, shared hosting would seem to have many limitations for the execution of the scripts. I have made the following changes in the blog’s .user.ini file.
max_input_vars = 2000 memory_limit = 256M upload_max_filesize = 100M post_max_size = 200M file_uploads = On max_execution_time = 180
However, the importer has now done his job. I see the service icons other than the foreground image! But I still don’t understand where the home images of the services are modified, not being able to understand I only change the text.
Everything perfect through the importer … the only problem that has now been created that the importer has shown the part of the menu, but I do not have the pro version, so it should not show that section. I will remove it via css because in the theme customization menu, if I enter the menu section, it requires the pro version so I cannot delete the section.
The fact remains that it is an excellent theme!
Best regards.SyGy88ParticipantHi and thanks for the help!
Look, I spent a lot of time there but I couldn’t find a way to do this! Of course I can give you the link:
https://www.pilloledolanda.it/truck/
I tried by hand to make it the same as your demo which in my opinion is beautiful!
I noticed only a small display problem on the home page, in the slider, as soon as you load the page you will see a flash of the second entry and then reposition itself in the image with the sandwich and the beer with a black background.Thanks again for the help you give!
SyGy88ParticipantHello and above all thanks for the reply!
Last night at 3 in the morning, going around your site, I found the demo import. I installed it and I’m always encountering an error when importing Error: error (500). But I’m not surprised because every demo import installed in the end gives me an error, in my opinion there is a hosting problem or connection times.I don’t understand another thing: In the theme customization menu there is the “Homepage / Frontpage Options” option where there is the selection of the blog categories. But this selection does not show me anything. Shouldn’t it display recent posts? as in the demo? I was unable to view recent posts and I inserted the jetpack widget on the home page to view the latest articles, but at this point the theme displays the name of the page and the date of publication and above all it does not have your nice way of view articles.
Sorry if I ask you another question, but how do I set social icons in the footer menu? I have to create a menu with personalized links facebook etc .. and the theme understands from the url which icon to display ??Thanks for the replies.
SyGy88ParticipantHi
Congratulations indeed on the topic! As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it. I wanted to follow the Demo import requests.
I was unable to understand how large images of services are placed in the background of the menu. Isn’t there a guide? Your layout is right for me!
Looking forward to your kind reply, cordial greetings. -
