This problem is solved. The Moto G4 phone was the problem. The vendor had to replace the phone because of a variety of random errors. Using the replacement phone for several months now …responsive feature works perfectly.
Thanks for your help.
March 18, 2017 at 7:32 pm in reply to: How to change layout option default to eliminate sidebar for posts "only" #112260NonnoParticipantHi @ Pratik,
Yes, I see the edit option of each post/page …I am using this feature now for all new pages and posts — it works well.
Thought it may be a nice feature to have in Catch Themes under Theme Options >>> Layout Options — a “default layout for pages and posts”
For now, I will continue to use individual edit option going forward on new posts and pages ..this is not a problem.
Thank you for your prompt response. Great theme!

NonnoParticipantHi Pratik, Sorry for slow response on my part …I have been very busy.
One item in my post may have created a problem …an animated gif being used as a featured image in one post. I removed the animated gif and the smartphone responsive problem seems to have gone away.
I will continue to monitor and if problem re-occurs, I will then try your recommended approach for CSS and plugins.
Thanks for all your help.
NonnoParticipantHi Pratik,
The URL https://catchthemes.com/demo/catch-responsive-pro works fine on Moto G4 …featured slider and all.
On my site – USRTownSquare.org/blog/ – the featured images for individual posts sometimes show very large and the title *incorrectly* goes under the image.
Very unpredictable —- sometimes entire view is ok but overall too small.
Then sometimes looks perfect?????Very confusing …problem seems to vary

On mobile device only, can I reduce font size under featured image or eliminate text?
thanks for taking a look …

November 15, 2015 at 10:04 pm in reply to: Using Featured Image Slider, How to *stop* on last image #79695NonnoParticipant@Sakin,
As it stands, the featured images repeat automatically.
I am trying to show images only once and then stop or freeze on the very last image. The last image is the composite build of the previous three images.
Hope this explanation is a little clearer.
NonnoParticipant@Sakin: Oooops! I should have caught that. The fix worked perfectly …exactly what I was trying to do.
Thank you for all your help. Without a doubt, this is the best WordPress theme ever …and support is outstanding!
NonnoParticipant@Sakin I tried fix …but no change on my Android …still see the excerpt text below title.
Mobile cache was cleared before testing.
If you want to check change on my site:

Thank you very much for the quick response.
NonnoParticipantI made suggested changes to functions.php and it seems to have cleared-up the problem. The RSS info text was properly reset.
Thank you for the quick response …great service!NonnoParticipant@Sakin: Thank you for the quick response.
I made the suggested change and the featured image now is just above the post title and aligned left …looks fine.
thanks for the great support.
