hi Mahesh. there are several areas that i want to use shortcode. In posts and pages, and some of the code i put into the HTML section of blog editor doesn’t translate over when u click into “visual”.

shortcodes such as:
[downloads] –
[download_history]
[purchase_history] –
[download_checkout]
[purchase_link]
etc

and html codes such as this:
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”//cdn.refersion.com/creative.js”></script>
<script>$rfsn_creative.generate(‘refersion_client/8820/creatives/dynamic/16366-bd1744ff071edeeebdd5456890eca2f0.json’, {
aid: ‘383662.49584b’
});</script><div id=”rfsn_img_16366″></div>

is that a code error not a theme error?
at any rate, i noticed a lot of html stuff that doesnt translate. i do not want to get rid of this theme so its important for em to find alternatives.
thank you for your help and i apologize for sounding dramatic but i freaked out because my blog is important and my second theme with catch themes that has given me grief with plugins.

Hi! I was wanting to do something similar to what this guy is doing but what he did was no posted in here, I dont believe. Didnt want to make a new post, but i can if you want me to.

Here is what im looking to do:
Either change the “blue” box to a different color in the logo area, or have what that guy has – a stationary custom navigation banner sort of thing.

I hope that makes sense!

Thank you for the recommendations. but none seem to be fixing the problem. i deactivated all of the plugins, cleared my cache… and began to activate one by one. the problem was gone, until i edited a blog and viewed it – then noticed the problem occurring again.
this makes me sad, not sure what else to do – i love this featured pages!

Sorry for the late reply. It’s still doing it, and I checked with another computer and on a mobile device. It comes and goes and shows different blog posts as featured pages. it’s so bizarre! do you think maybe one of my plugins is clashing with it?

Hi there. No I haven’t removed it yet. I put it exactly where your directions say to. I tried the new code and still nothing. Should I maybe put it somewhere else in the editor? I’m almost positive that’s where the Catch Themes team had me put it but I can’t recall exactly where, it was last year.
I’m also thinking maybe another plugin is clashing with it, but I can’t no for sure until I try to put the code in the editor.
This is so sad, I love this theme but I might need to find a different one.
