@jrdphd: It is secondary menu not the mobile menu so it shows up in both desktop and mobile versions. Hope you understand. If you want to hide from any one of them, it can be done with Custom CSS.

The above problem is a server problem rather than the theme or WordPress. Please contact you server for allocating/increase the memory limit. Have you installed any plugins? Try disabling it and try with that too.

@yourexpertself: I guess, you’ll need to use a different image, with minimum height possible. Because the width of the image covers the background, and the height is adjusted as per the image width. Hope you understand.
