MichaelParticipant
Thanks !
MichaelParticipantShoudl work
Try https://www.gayundah.info/reception-in-brisbane/MichaelParticipantI tested with a 300×300 image and as you can see that didn’t work.
MichaelParticipantOK I’ll try that later, thanks
MichaelParticipantThat has taken care of 2, 3, 4 thanks.
How do I change the font, font size, font colour, alignment etc of the text itself?
MichaelParticipantSure here’s an example page https://www.gayundah.info/?page_id=374
You’ll note that the quotes at the top of the page are using the Alchemist Pro style,
those toward the bottom of the page though, for some unknown reason, have retained the blockquote style from the previous (Adventurous Pro) theme.

MichaelParticipantI’ve purchased Alchemist Pro – thank you for your help.
MichaelParticipantI cant really see any difference between those two screenshots.’
Anyway that aside, there are moer features that I want in alchemist pro than eterprise pro.
Is it POSSIBLE to have the Featured Slider:Image Overlay and Featured Slider: Content Alignment added to the Alchemist them somehow?
MichaelParticipantSorry for the multiple posts.
I’ve been through the specs of both pro themes in detail and I think the Alchemist theme has the edge for me as well.
I just have a couple of questions please regarding a few features that are listed for the Enterprise theme but not for Alchemy.
The Enterprise theme says it offers more slider types, specifically:
Featured Slider: Image Overlay
Featured Slider: Content Alignment
Are you able to explain these to me please? The Enterprise theme also says it features:
Site Content Style: Classic or Modern
Menu Style: Classic or Modern
Are you able to explain these to me please? Are they just ‘shortcut’ styles meaning there’s not necessarily a need to create a different style – can just switch between two?MichaelParticipantHmm even the price is the same. The Enterprise pro has the nicest menu – that is the menu item in use is highlighted in green and the drop down has a nice green line above it.
I’m happy to buy one of these but am stressed about which one to get. I presume all those things can be changed in any event, via css etc?
Is one a better base for a child theme than the other?
MichaelParticipantThank you. As far as the ‘compare’ is concerned yes I’ve seen the free vs pro but I’d like to see a compare function which allowed comparison between pro themes. e.g. in this case between alchemy and free enterprise.
So difficult to choose between these two. They are extremely similar.
I’ll probably make a child theme as well so any modifications to it, aren’t lost when updating the parent. Maybe teh decider will be which menu style looks best 🙂Thanks again for your assistance to this. I’ll go shopping soon…. 🙂
MichaelParticipantBy the way the catch gallery demo page isn’t currently working: https://catchplugins.com/demo/?data=b3BEbnJ1ZVpocXoxU0hvYXFLaGlWUT09
MichaelParticipantThank you so much for your assistance. 🙂
I’ve looked at the themes and the following are the ones I’m trying to decide between.
Clean Enterprise Pro or Alchemist Pro. These do seem fairly similar, so a few questions on each please.Clean Enterprise Pro
Q 1: Is it possible NOT to have the line at the top of the page (the one which shows “Any Questions .. etc) ?
Q 2: Is there an image slider?
Q 3. Is it possible, with blockquotes to change the colour of the quote symbol? Position of the quite symbol? Font, font size, font weight of the blockquote content?Alchemist Pro
Q 4: Is there a slider?
Q 5: Is it possible, with blockquotes to change the colour of the quote symbol? Position of the quite symbol? Font, font size, font weight of the blockquote content?I’d also be grateful if you have an opinion as to which of those would be best for the page I am running (gayundah.info) and why.
As a suggestion, It’d be really helpful if for all your pro themes you had a grid with check boxes to show what features they do or dont have.
Q re Gallery Plugin: It is mentioned as a requirement to have photo gallery on both of these themes. Is it free/included with the pro them or does it have to be purchased at additional expense? I’m currently using the free foogallery and it allows multiple albums on one page etc.
MichaelParticipantIs that page in order from newest to oldest themes?
Thing is I don’t really know how to choose what theme would be best for my website.
It’s a history website about a ship from the 1890s onmwards.
Any suggestions you might have to help me narrow it down?MichaelParticipanthaha never mind just found it in header options. Thanks heaps.
MichaelParticipantNo the settings weren’t retained at all, as I say just the content.
Sorry between when I originally posted I have updated the original post.. can you please have a read and let me know. Ta.
MichaelParticipantOK I have purchased the Pro version of the theme (in my sisters name for her site) so will ask a further question in that forum. Thanks.
MichaelParticipantThanks sapana. That’s great.
I’ll still need to fiddle with some positioning etc, but I won’t bother you with that for now.
Will see if I can convince my sister to but the Pro version first 🙂I also did a theme review. Cheers.
