    Hi Sakin,

    I have used the following but doesn’t do anything. I have 2 images on several pages, but I only want the border suppressed on the png image (pencil), not the jpg. On the edit page, there’s no border, but when I refresh the page and view, the pgn has the keyline. See http://www.iwritegreatcopy.com/Need SEO?

    /* To remove the border of the caption box */
    .page .wp-caption { border: none; }

    Any suggestions on how to do this?

    Still working on the line spacing.

    Karin

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Sakin, I’ve changed the font and reduced the number of words from 4 to 2 in the caption. What I would like is to be able to have a longer caption but have the space between the lines in the caption reduced. I have tried a line break, reducing the pt size and readjusting image.

    Without do much ado, is there anyway to reduce the spacing between lines, without having to readjust for each image on a page? Right now, the image box is elongated to accommodate the caption. I would like it square as in the blog posts.

    Also I am adding some png images to a page. How can I suppress the border for pgn images? As you’ve suppressed the border for pngs in the header and footer, what’s the code for content pages?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Sakin, Thanks for your help. Have adjusted and no problems, except 1 slider image came in larger. I’ve taken to editing the slider in picasa before uploading into wordpress and using it this theme – more control. Also, is the pro version more flexible in terms of the size of slider other than the 976 x 313?
    Thanks for any info on this topics.

    Hi Sakin,

    I’ve set the slider to Featured Image, enable on home page.

    Under image, I’ve put in the url from my media library which is set to 976×313 in the thumbnail editor.

    No link.  Didn’t check off, “to open in new window”.  The image comes in in the proper proportions but small (maybe it works on mobile). I know the images work correctly in the post, so is there another step I am missing?  I am using Post Thumbnail editor and also resized images in Picasa.

    Site is http://www.iwritegreatcopy.com.  Thanks for your help.

    Hi Sakin,

    Just an update. Cleared out past Simple Catch from my server database and with the help of ipage rewrote the code which I wanted for the footer.  Works great!

    I’m thinking of adding social media to the footer, but can’t get jetpack sharing to work on this page.  Any suggestions on a social media plugin that would do the job and work with your theme?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Sakin,

    Just an update, I’ve discovered that this is a wordpress settings issue and have adjusted this to original.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Sakin, Works like a charm.  Did not check off the “responsive box”.  As I only want select copy to appear on my mobile, the original thought I had was to use another theme for mobile and the Catch Pro as my site/blog.

    If I do decide to use Pro for mobile, can you specify the page or blog post (recent)you want to send?

    thanks for you help.

    Hi Sakin, I’ve emailed you a screen capture on the last item.  Don’t understand why this has come up as it did not appear in the free version of Catch.

    Hi Sakin,

    I added this to the custom CSS as you suggested, and it worked this morning, but this evening, I have the menu on 2 lines.  I would like the entire menu on one line.  Is there something I’m missing?
    `#access ul li a { padding: 0 23px; }
    #access ul li:last-child { border-right: none;}
    #access ul li:last-child a { padding: 0 20px 0 21px; }

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Sakin,  Thanks for the follow up.  I’m wondering if this is an upgrade issue?  I made changes to Simple Catch, but when I upgraded to Pro, did not upgrade from a “child”.  Would this be a problem?

    Hi Sakin,  Great! Thanks for the clarification.  Would you recommend editing these to fit the slider proportions in an image editor first (i used picasa) before importing into wordpress media and from there set featured image slider? I had some issues with 1 of my images in the past, this resolved the issue.

    Thanks,

    Karin

    Hi Sakin,  Thanks for your help.  I have checked the sharing plugin and it seems you can’t adjust the placement.  The only option is searching for another plugin.

    The other option is to increase the point size or colour of the line in your theme.  I’ve checked the colour options, but I do not see where I can change the “line colour” .  Right now, the line between each post on the summary page is a light grey which I assume is the default.  How do I change this to a darker colour?  If it changes the keyline around the images, that’s okay. Just need it darker to make it easier to read.

    Also, I have viewed the posts on footer editor not working, but as I am working in 2.0 it should work, rigft? However, it’s not working.  Any suggestions on getting text changes to stick?

    Thanks for your help on this.

    Hi Sakin – Works like a charm!  Thanks for the info. As the CSS was there when I did the upgrade from free, I thought that the same would apply.
