With core theme files you mean e.g. header.php? These I think they have been modified. How to change the theme in the theme options – custom CSS box? Is it dangerous to update it through dashboard?

By the way can I continue the website without the update if it is much trouble? At least for 6 months? Or would you really advise me to install these updates asap?

I deleted the cache in cacheplugin. Can you now see the 0 in the #header-content { padding: 0; } code? The white space is gone except for underneath the logo. How to remove this white space and how to move the search in the menu?

I put 0 in all the margins. Now there is only white space underneath the header together with search. How can this be removed? Can search be placed in the menu?

I did add #header-content { padding: 0; } in custom css, I see it in when I go to custom css. It is on the first line.

I don’t understand about those margins, no idea how to remove the white space in header options with the margins. You have px, pt, em and %. No idea what to do here.

Exist a way to change the text yourself for pages? When I change the excerpt length in Theme options, 2 photos still have 4 sentences and 2 other photos only 3 sentences.

How come I cant find excerpt in screen options? Is this only available in WordPress 3.8?

When I click on screen options, I don’t see excerpt in the list of options. Is that only visible in the updated version of the theme? Is that the only way to modify the slider text? I understood with the featured slider you can modify the text yourself as well.

Only the homepage works properly. If you go to any subpage it appears strange. How can these pages look good as the homepage does?
