I mean the header image size.

Does regenerate mean if I have an original file that’s 5MB, it will automatically size it down to whatever the settings are so I don’t have to resize on my own before uploading it onto my blog?

Thank you. I just uploaded simple image sizes plug in. I set all the settings to this themes’ parameters for the pixels. I see a “regenerate images” tab on the bottom of posts and pages. I assume this will regenerate all the images on those pages to the settings i put in place.

I assume the slider images are taken from the page or post so it will automatically be regenerated as well?

What about my image on my front page? What is the resolution that needs to be? Mine is rectangular similar in size to the slider. Right now I have it set to 976 x 376. Is that OK?

I can’t seem to center one of my thumbnails. The regenerate plugin doesn’t seem to have an option to center it. Also how do I use the regenerate plug in in the post and slider photos?

I noticed my images were grainy so I uploaded the higher resolution which have file sizes around 1-6 MB. It seems to be working fine on my computer but am worried it won’t upload for others.

Should I decrease the image size or is it ok? Do I decrease the size after I upload and edit it on my site? Or do I need to decrease the size even before uploading to site?

Couple more questions. Hopefully last.

I changed all my fonts to pt and increased their size. However the Menu titles and the title with colon (Title:) under the feature slider has not changed in size. Can you tell me what those items are called under the font size option?

Also how do I fit my thumbnail to fit within the square? I tried edited the size down but it doesn’t change anything.

Last question. I have not gone live yet. I can access my site admin on my computer but cannot on my phone. Is there a reason why mobile internet won’t let me access admin?

Sorry another question: how do I change the font on this theme? I tried going under theme options and changing the set fonts there but to no avail. I can italicize under editing but it doesn’t show up on the actual site??

I was also wondering what is the highest/best resolution for images for simple catch pro? I uploaded an image and it is grainy.

Another question: most of my images are vertical and not horizontal like the featured image horizontal rectangle. Is there a way to change the format of the featured slider?
