ParticipantI discovered the issue. WordPress 5.0 was installed without our permission. Their new block format changed the default font without giving us a choice. By installing the Classic Editor Plugin our previous format and fonts have been restored in our posts.

ParticipantI have no idea how to do a child theme. I don’t have the funds to hire anyone so need to do it myself. Please tell me how.

ParticipantPlease go look at any of the current posts, 1-12 at shellyandcococreate.com. All of them have san-serif fonts, probably Helvetica. Now look at the link http://www.dougbaldwinphoto.com/catchboxpro.html that shows what a draft post looks like with Serif fonts now showing up as a default font. As previously stated in this discussion, the default fonts in the Customize section show that all areas should have san-Serif fonts in use. How do we change the default to san-serif fonts?

ParticipantUpdate: I just checked the Font Family Option in the Customizing Panel. All 4 section are set to Helvetica, a san serif font. Why then have all the previously posted posts and all the Draft posts now show a serif font instead?

ParticipantSkandha, the suggestion you made worked great, THANKS!
NOW, how do I reverse the order of Recent Posts on the front page so that the oldest post #1 is at the top of the list and the list continues on with 2, 3, etc.?

ParticipantThe website is shellyandcococreate.com. I posted another post, 9) Garden – Patio that was tagged with the Category “Garden”. It should appear there but doesn’t. We only seem to be able to get posts to appear in the Outfit Ideas page.

ParticipantHello Support, We still don’t have an answer to the question above on how to hide the link under a word. All we seem able to do is show the whole long URL which is ugly and we don’t want that.
Heres’s another example: http://livelovesara.com/2018/09/what-to-pack-for-germany-packing-light/
Under the gallery of photos there are words such as Black Camisole. Those words are active links without showing the whole URL. How do we do that?
Thanks.

ParticipantYes, it allows us to build galleries of grouped photos. What I need is slightly different. I need a gridded grouping of photos where each photo has its own distinct URL link to that item’s product page on a retail site. See this website’s look: https://youlookfab.com. Notice the lovely grid pattern where some photo are a vertical 2-box version and there’s a 4-box version as well.

ParticipantOur blog is not up yet, we’re building it offline. I can direct you to another website where this occurs: extrapetite.com. Scroll down in the first post “Maternity Shoot…” to the Outfit Details section to the left of the photo, hover over CUSTOMIZABLE DRESS. That’s a link but the URL doesn’t show (no http://www.and so on). If you click on CUSTOMIZABLE DRESS it takes you to another website. All the capitalized words in that section are links with hidden URLs.

ParticipantYes, I understand how to insert a link. What I’ve seen on other blogs is that the url is hidden behind a title. I don’t want a long URL clogging the appearance of a post, it looks amateurish and ugly.

ParticipantSkahndha replied within a day to my question about the zip file. Good tech support.

ParticipantI was able to re-zip the file using the Mac OS. It uploaded fine and installed correctly. Thanks.
