A box with 50% opacity for the Featured Category Slider would be great.

Also, can you tell me how to add a box to wrap around the title in Featured Category Slider? The color of the text for the title follow the color the link that I set (blue) but when I put an image where the dominant color is blue the visitors won’t be able to read the title.

As I understand it, there is a box for the title text but it will only appear when a visitor hover the cursor to the title text.

That is why it would be great to have a box to wrap the title text.

Is there a solution to this?

Yes, what I meant is it would be great to have to ability to add image alongside text like a banner.

Also, how to change the default box in promotion headline? I mean can I change it into a different image or is it possible to modify the box to a different color or shape?

Yes, I’m running a child theme on my website. How to add 2nd featured content above the footer via child theme? It would be great if you can give me the code to accomplish this.

As for the request…can you add another featured content so I can have 2 featured content – I will place the first one under the featured slider and the other one above the footer.

Having 2 featured content is an awesome thing for my type of website.

I hope you can look into this and materialize the request.

Sorry for the late reply…haven’t been able to get a good internet connection because I’m away from home for sometime now.

As you can see, I used every feature you offered on CB Pro and I really, really love the theme.

It would be an even more superb theme if you can add another Featured Content that can be placed before Footer Area 1 and Footer Area 2 (take a look at my website http://forexquestionsandanswers.com/). If you can do it I plan to put my category for vids to make my website more awesome all thanks to your theme 🙂 Most theme maker don’t pay attention to the bottom part of their themes so it would be great if you can do it. However, if you can’t do it then I will try to make-do by using other method with what’s available.

Yes, I intentionally made them small for a purpose.

I thought maybe you could make the title to be in the center of the image because the way I see it you fixated the title right in the middle of catch base slider size which is 1200px and height 514px because no matter which size I tried the title will not be in the center of the image unless I use the exact size of 1200 x 514.

Another problem I see is the length of the title. Some posts have long title so it would be better to limit the character to something like 40 character and any title longer than the number of characters set above will be cut and appended with a &helip;

This will make the theme much more robust, flexible, adaptive and adjustable for all users.

Also, can you fix the arrows (left and right) for next and previous slider so that they are placed properly. Right now as you can see, the arrows are a bit lower than the location of the slider.

It would be awesome if you can fix the problems on the next update of Catch Base Pro.

Yes, I already enable the featured content and set it to category.

I’m trying to do this on featured post for the sidebar widget. Please see my site forexquestionsandanswers.com to see what I mean. In featured post for sidebar widget I can only add 1 featured post per widget. Is there a way to make the sidebar widget to display 4 featured posts instead of only 1? I think this would be very awesome to have such feature on featured post for sidebar widget 🙂

One more thing… how to make the featured post widget to include 4 posts (or more). Currently, what I’m doing is to add 4 featured post widgets and it’s not practical. It would be nice to make it like the option in theme customizer where there is an option to add up to 20 featured posts with just 1 click. Adding it one by one is not practical especially if someone wants to add like 10 featured posts and also changing other featured posts to display in the future is not gonna be a pleasant experience.

I just noticed when I click the image on the top it took me directly to the post and when I click the image below it took me to the attachment location of that image. So the image on the top should actually be the title of the post but instead the theme showed the first image in the post.

Is this a bug?

I tried the demo featured content and i see the image displayed fine with title post.

I tried to use featured post content and it showed the image fine too but there is still no title for each post.

When I try featured category content the image is displayed twice and there’s no title on each post.

So what is wrong with my site?
