    Hi,

    I purchased renewal of this theme today and went to do update. Things didn’t go well and I restored my backup. After restoring, all my theme customisation is gone?!

    How do I recover this? Please don’t tell me backups do not “backup” your theme settings… The customising theme is pretty much my whole website contents.

    @hoiung: Hello Hoi,
    Can you please let me know how did you back up your theme? Did you backup using some plugin or just backed up the theme folder?

    We use godaddy pro, it does the daily backup automatically of the ENTIRE website (or it should). I also did a manual backup clicking the “backup now” which it says successfully backed up (but no it doesn’t). where can I find all my theme customise settings?

    @hoiung: Hello Hoi,
    The customizer settings are stored in the database. If you have backed up your database you should be able to restore it.
