Hello Forum,

I have been using the Catch Everest Free template for some months now and have made customisation’s to suit our needs. Some functionality was locked behind the pro version which we wanted so we have purchased the pro version of this template.

How do we swap the theme over while keeping all the customisation’s we’ve made to the free template. A step by step process would be greatly appreciated as I haven’t been able to find this information on the support website.

@harrisdaleps: Thank you for using our theme. Its simple to upgrade to Pro, you’ll just need to install the Pro theme and all the settings will be migrated automatically from free to Pro theme.

Hi Mahesh,

I just wanted to follow on from this as I haven’t been able to get this working. I have installed the pro theme so right now in wordpress I can see both themes. When I active the catch Pro theme it defaults and shows things like this screenshot:

Where as if you visit http://www.harrisdaleps.wa.edu.au/ you’ll see the customisations we’ve made with the free theme.

So i’m not sure why the settings aren’t copying across.

@dylan-f: Which version of Pro theme are you using? All settings are migrated automatically from Free to Pro from version 3.5 and above. Let me know if any problem.

Hi Mahesh,

The free version is running 2.7.4
The Pro version installed is 3.6.1

Will I need to manually migrate the settings and if so how do I do this?

@dylan-f: The settings will be migrated automatically with upgrade. No need for that. If you need it anyway, you can use plugin to export and import settings.
