From time to time the Umlaut aren’t showing correctly in Simple Catch Pro Theme. It looks like this:

Ich stelle auf meinem Blog in loser Reihenfolge immer wieder Bücher vor – alles Lesestoff für deine Reise. Und natürlich auch für zu Hause.

It should be wiht ä / ö /ü and so on.

Do you have any idea what could be the issue and how to fix?

Hi @Sarah,

Usually in web(html) those letters are encoded. If you want to use those letters, you need to paste them in html as follows:
* ä for ä
* ö for ö and so on

The issue is related to content and not the theme itself. Also, can you post in your site url too so I can check it.

And I actually have a Plugin for transforming the Umlauts and it worked well so far. I didn’t install another plugin who could have compromised the Umlaut transformer.

Hi @Sarah,

I think it is due to the plugin. Previously, the plugin was working, and now it has stopped working. You will need to contact the plugin support for that because we won’t be able to do anything further from theme perspective.

Thank you for your answer. The plugin is actually working fine. But I cant reach the plugin support…

I am sorry but that does not fall into the theme support scope. I cannot recommend anything else. Maybe you can try the WordPress support forums.
