    Facebook link is saving in the theme options, but no logo showing. Also, if I’m putting pictures on the slider (1000 x 200), why do vertical lines show up? I presume it’s an “effect” but how do I turn that off?

    url is villagepca.org

    I figured out the facebook item – but the vertical lines are still there. The website is back up.

    @rxcosta: Yes the vertical lines are the effect. You can disable that Go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Slider => Slider Options”. Then Check “Disable Slider Background Effect”.

    Thanks – that worked.
    My main home page of the website is a blog – not a static page. I’d like that “home” page to have an image slider (I can do that now), but I’d love other pages to just show a specific featured (for each page) without fading into other images. Can this be done?

    @rxcosta: Oh sorry that is not possible in this theme at this time.

    There must be a way to fix this – why does it work at this url: villagepc.org (a test site) – click on “Bulletin”

    @rxcosta: If that worked in test site then it will work in live site as well. Why don’t you use the same settings. We haven’t tested with BBpress plugin.

    I just made the theme options the same across both sites – it still works on one, and not the other. This is very frustrating – this theme is very nice, and would work perfectly, except for this one problem. Isn’t there a way to find out what error messages are coming out?

    @rxcosta: Can you show me the URL where it is not working. As I cannot find forum in http://www.villagepca.org/

    The server may be having issues periodically – I think it’s being fixed.

    @rxcosta: You have to define forum from “Settings => Forums” . Here is the direct link http://www.villagepca.org/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=bbpress .

    Sorry, I don’t see that option at all – and why does it work with the other site?

    I’m going ahead and trying another forum (which seems to work). Thanks for trying.

    Unrelated question – I have a logo above the menu – but there’s a lot of extra space – how can I shrink the area (height wise) that the logo sits in?

    You can first decrease the margin button in the header right sidebar. That is taking space. You can add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
    #sidebar-top, #sidebar-top ul { margin-bottom: 0; }

    Thanks – it didn’t save any space in my case.
