I am using Fabulous Fluid Pro

I have a couple issues that I can’t seem to resolve and I know I’ve had them working correctly before on another site.

The first is a menu that shouldn’t even appear. I am not sure how it got ther in the first place but its there. I’ve delete any menus I created from “Menus” and have nothing in ANY widgets but its still there (an image will be included demenstrating these issues)

Next I want the page content to be about 60% of the width (currently it is full width)

The last issue (at the moment) is the Skip To Content. I had this gone and it’s reappeared. I have the check box checked to remove it but its still there.

I’m wokdering if somehow the theme has been correpted.

I’d give you a link to the site but its currently on my computer in a development environment (Xampp with WordPress)

    Any thoughts?

    Hi @bc12345,

It looks like plugin issue to me. Please check for plugin conflict following article: https://catchthemes.com/wordpress-tutorials/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts-with-our-themes/

Also, please reinstall the theme if the problem persists. Let me know how it goes.

    Regards,

Hmmmmm, Before you think any harder on this, I downloaded fabulous Fluid Pro from my working site and stuck it in the development site. So far I see changes eg. the page width is set correctly and that gray menu is gone. I’m goint to see if I can configure this the way I want. I’ll post back later do report my results. Thanks for the help. Hopefully this resolves the issue.

Well it wasn’t quite that easy. Turns out that whatever corrupted it happened in the database. I had to do remove wordpress (remember, this is a local instlation so that isn’t a big deal) then clear out the database of the db table. Once done I got everything back to start. In this case it’s not a big deal as I hadn’t don’t a whole lot of configuring.

    Thank you for your help,

    Bruce

    Hi @bc1235,

Corrupt database, thank god it was local installation. Great that you did not loose much work, it can be a pain.

Anyways, if you liked my support, it would be great if you could leave a review at https://wordpress.org/themes/fabulous-fluid/.

    Regards,
    Pratik
