I am new to web design so this might be a stupid question…

I changed the front page displays from ‘Your latest posts’ to ‘A static page’ and named my front page as ‘Home’ so that there will be a ‘Home’ tab on the menu bar of my website.
    And it was all good.

However, Now when I go to my website, there is this ‘Home>>’ thing in front of my website name on the tab toolbar of my internet browser.
I want to remove this so that when people search for my website, there will be only the website name on the tab bar.

Does anyone know how to change this?

@dhv77: Can you post in your site URL and then I will check in.

@dhv77: I don’t see any reason for setting Static homepage. To add home on Menu. You can simply create Custom Menu from “Appearance => Menus”, then you will see “Pages” then click on “View All” and then select “Home”. Accordingly, you can add in Pages, Categories and links as per you need. See details about menus at http://catchthemes.com/blog/custom-menus-wordpress-themes/

But if you want to stay with your current menu and just work on the title then you need to install “WordPress SEO by Yoast” plugin and customize your title as per your need.

Thank you Sakin for your reply.

I’m sorry I thought the front page would show blog posts without choosing the static front page, but I just followed what you said and it’s working perfectly.

Thank you again for your help.
I will definitely upgrade to Catch Everest Pro when I need more functions.
