    In the parent style sheet for max screen width of 990px, the width of .sidebar-primary .widget (line 3413)  changes to 50% and then for max screen width of 480px it changes back to 100% (line 3886). Is there a reason for the 50% reduction at 990px? I have successfully eliminated this in my child theme but just wonder why this behavior.

    @heinelg: Hello there,

    This is because the widgets till 480px are in a single column so 100% width and the widgets from 480px to 990px are in two columns so 50% width.

    Yes, thanks. Since I’m not using widgets in the sidebar but images 170px wide as buttons, the 50% width caused a problem but I corrected it in the child theme.
