I really like the way the Verity demo has the 3 columns in the footer, with the about, recent posts, and numbered archives, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do that on my own site. I’m assuming there is some built-in functionality with the theme that I’m missing, but hoping someone can help me figure out how to achieve this layout.

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Widgets => Add a widget if Footer Area 1,2 and 3 and Publish.
