Suddenly the slider is not working. It only shows the first photo. When I go to the customize portion of wordpress it only gives me an option of where I will have the slider, featured content and featured grid content, but it does not give me options of what content or categories to use nor other options.

Any thoughts.

@jamesmillerlifeology: You seem to be using an older version of the theme. Please update the theme to the latest version and let me know if the issue persists.

is there a way to manually download the updates since I’m not getting the updates via the dashboard in my wordpress?

@jamesmillerlifeology: When you purchase a premium theme you get an initial 1 year subscription which means that you can download the updates until a year of purchase date. However, after one year, you will have to renew your subscription manually for the new updates. Since you purchased the theme on April 3rd 2017 your 1 year subscription has expired. Now you will have to renew your subscription manually for the new updates.

ok, I just bought it again. I downloaded the theme and attempted to upload a “new theme” since I didn’t see any options for update in the current theme of the wordpress dashboard. It didn’t work. Where do I upload the update?

BTW, I have the Disable Update Notifier unchecked, so I hope it automatically sends me the updates in the future.

But until then, I’m not sure how to update it.

Sorry for so many messages.

I noticed in the faq that there is supposed to be a catch theme updated in the appearance section of the dashboard. I don’t have that option.

ok, i figured it out. I updated the latest version of the theme. But I am still having the original problem of not having the options to change the slider. After the update the slider is now using all of my posts. i originally had it set to a certain category. Without the options to change the slider it’s moot to keep it active. Any update as to why I don’t have some of these options in the customization area?

The options are now back, but the slider is pulling from all categories instead of the one I have assigned. Even when I clear the cache or customize from an incognito browser it still pulls from all categories. I am attaching a screen shot to show what options I have set but they are not working correctly.

Any update on this? I now have the options but it does not update when I select one of the categories, but currently displays all of the categories in the slider. I’ve deleted my cache and unplugged all of the plugins to see if one of them is conflicting. If it can’t be fixed I will have to disable the slider… which is a disappointment.

I receive updates for the free version Fabulous Fluid, but not the Pro. I manually went to your site, downloaded the theme and then uploaded it. Is it supposed to automatically update in my theme section instead of me manually doing it?

@jamesmillerlifeology: You may have disabled update notifier option. Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Update Notifier and check if it is enabled.

The box is unchecked. I assume if I check it then it will disable the update notifications.
Any other causes of this?
