I’m trying to get my head around the sizing requirement for this utility.
Try as I may some images finish up at a different height than the standard 514 and as a result the text below jumps during the transition.
If I resize all to 1200 wide the individual heights tend to be other than 514, making this “jump”.
If sized to 514 high then the slider opts for the 1200 default width also creating the same undesirable effect.

Maybe it’s something I’m doing wrong, I hope so.

@Crusoe: Please post in your site URL so that I can check in what’s happening. If you are using Page/Post/Category slider. Then after you change the theme, you need to regenerate the thumbnail using Regenerate Thumbnail plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails

Ah, thanks for that but I seem to have sorted it out by just trying various options.

If you would have a look at it, in particular the image slider, I am now using the Featured Image slider which may have well fixed my earlier concern.

I’m interested to know how it handles over-sized and undersized images in the slider.
The best i can do is crop to 514 high and then the nearest I can to 1200 wide.
This irregular width shows up worse on some transition modes than other, the Flip Horizontal seems to hide it better than others.

Anyway, please have a look and advise me how to better it if you may.

@Crusoe: About the image size in slider, we recommend 1200px width and 514px height. But for image slider you can add image of width 1200px and height any you like. But to make it look nice. You should make all the image in the slider, the same size.

@guy.shachar76: For which theme and site. If you want to upload 1500px width then your site width need to be 1500px as well.
