Hello Skandha,

I tried to change the button text. After doing that I get the response: “something went wrong. It is possible that you have to repair the file”.

Can you please give me a hint how to do this?

You have made a button “view more”. Where in the folder I can find the text that I can change?

And: is it possible to give the text another color that contrasts more with the background?

To change the View More button text and link

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Promotion Headline => Edit Button Text and Button Link and Publish.

To change the button text and link of rest of the button

Go to => Child Theme Folder => template-parts => promotion-headline => image-promotion.php

Search for the text Click Here 1, 2, 3 & 4 and the link https://www.instagram.com/ and replace them with your button text and link.

This sone’t work. If I try anything to change in the php file, I get the message:
Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saven. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over FTP.

I replaced the instagram link by https://www.hagmeijer.nl.

Sure I can. Is not also possible, that I download the php file with ftp, adapt it and upload it? And of course make a backup.
