Hi all,
I’m using catch-flame theme. i’m trying to access social media icons through appearance>themeoptions-> social links but it can’t shows any options.
help me out…March 14, 2015 at 5:10 pm #53288SakinKeymaster@ramakrishna: Sorry I don’t get it what you mean. Can you share your site URL and Screenshot of Theme Options. It should show Social Icons options. For that you need to go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Social Link => Social Icons”. There you need to add in your social profile URLs.

I’m using Catch Responsive Pro

May 13, 2015 at 5:10 pm #57616WebitseoParticipantI’m also having a problem with social icons. They are not appearing. I am using WP 4.2.2 and Catch Flames. I have edited “Social Links” in the customisation section and added my facebook and twitter url’s to appear in the footer, but they are not appearing. Also, there is no social icon widget appearing in the widget area of WP, so therefore I can’t add social links in sidebars either. Can you help?

So, to add social icon in Catch Flames Free theme, you just need to add your social profile at “Appearance => Theme Options => Social Icons”. Then it will automatically add it in your Header Right Section below search and if you want to show that in footer then you need to check in “Enable Social Icons in Footer”
For more, check out theme instructions page at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-flames/.
If it doesn’t show even after you add in then please share your site URL and then I will check in.
May 14, 2015 at 12:40 am #57670WebitseoParticipantAs I mentioned, I did add my social links to the footer via the theme customisation page, but the links aren’t appearing. I have hidden the top right widget in the header because I don’t want social icons or a search form in that location, but I have not hidden the css element “.social-profile” or related elements in the footer, so I’m not sure why it’s not appearing. This is the url: http://www.rosie-posie.com
Thanks

For sample child theme and related, refer to http://catchthemes.com/blog/create-child-theme-wordpress/. So, remove all the css and add only requited css and it will work fine.
