    Hi,

    WP newbie here. I would appreciate any help!

    Basically my blog posts are not showing on my page called ‘Blog’ even though I have the page template set to blog in the page settings. I also set my Settings > Reading > A Static Page > Front Page: Home, Posts Page: Blog.

    When I check Google Developer tools, nothing is showing in the div #main .container.

    Is my blog page reading another php template file other than page-blog.php?

    Nevermind, I found a solution here: http://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/hide-footer-area-posts-page/

    Guess I didn’t dig deep enough through the archives. Sorry for the duplicate question!

    @cre8ve1: It’s ok and I am glad that you found it. Yes, you don’t need to change the settings. Just add the Page template as blog and it will be fine.
